"How do your Renewable Heat Packs Work?"
The heat packs are initiated by the push of a button. They then produce heat at temperatures between 110 and 125 degrees for approximately 4.5 hours. This is sufficient to support the cylinders until the concrete reaches initial set. With a Curacyl curing cabinet, concrete cylinders produce enough heat to stay ASTM C-31 compliant with ambient temps down to zero degrees on their own.
Renewing the heat packs is easy. Simply boil them for 20 minutes, then allow them to return to room temperature. Ready to go again.
"Do I need your Heat Packs?" In most cases, No!
You need to consult your own "growing zone" in regard to potential temperatures. Our superior temperature retention does the work for the cylinders. If you find yourself in zones numbered 1 through 7 you should consider involving the heat packs when extremely low ambient temperatures arrive in order to achieve the best results.

"Our company uses coolers for curing, what makes your CuraCyl curing cabinet better?"
Beverage coolers simply do not work! If you're using a name brand cooler you are not doing your project any favors!

Reflective Temperature Retention is our achievement. The walls, top and bottom of our boxes are 2" - 3" thick. The walls and bottom of most coolers are 3/8" - 1/2" inch and the top has NO INSULATION. It is hollow! Every CuraCyl is injected with high density closed cell polypropylene insulation, providing superior temperature retention.
"How long will these curing boxes last?"
Years! Our one piece build combined with the closed cell interior assures performance year after year. These curing cabinets can even pay for themselves in the first year! Some firms charge a minimal fee each time the unit is used. Contractors enjoy the savings. Additionally, their cylinder breaks are reliable.
"What if my CuraCyl is damaged on the jobsite?"
The superior KAYAK GRADE material can be welded and repaired! Contact your local plastics fabricator. An easy fix!
"Why does everything ship by ground?"
So many of our products are categorized as 'over-sized' by shippers. Therefore, ground shipping is the only cost effective means.
